Dogs are properly welcome here with no limit on size, breed or number and no extra charges. The fridge freezer is full size, with plenty of room for raw food, and our local pet shop Isle of Pets will even deliver your food to the cottage if needed. Dog towels for drying off muddy paws are included, plus a selection of throws for beds and sofa so that your dogs can sleep anywhere they want. There’s even a dog shower if they really need to clean off before coming inside.
The flooring is non-slip vinyl – warm and cosy underfoot, easy to clean. The 250sqft+ garden is laid to astroturf and gravel and fenced to 6ft6in, and there is at least 6m between fences to the field / other cottages so even the most nervous of dogs should feel safe and secure in their private garden. Poo bin provided for clearing up after your dogs.
You get one pre-booked slot in our secure 8 acre field each morning as part of your stay (when all 3 cottages are open this will change to 2×30 min slots per cottage per day) and we also let you know when it’s available at other times when you’re here. We keep to pre-booked slots so that everyone can have the field to themselves, something that is appreciated by all the nervous dogs who holiday here and don’t want to share their space with other dogs.
Why not time your visit to take in one of our fabulous workshops or treat yourself to a package of 1:1 training sessions with Sian or one of the team from Developing Dogs. Please email us to check availability for 1:1 sessions before booking – we are always busy!
We provide up to 6 collar tags with our contact details for your dogs to wear while they are on their holidays.
We don’t routinely provide dog beds, or bowls, as we know from experience that most dogs prefer their own home comforts, however we always have spares, including crates, to borrow if you need them. Just let us know when you book.
