Dragonfly Cottage
The shining jewel in our trio of cottages, Dragonfly, is a couple’s hideaway. Full of gorgeous velvets and copper accents, this is where Sian has indulged her love of colour and texture.
Dragonfly Cottage is a special place to spend a holiday with your dogs (and the human you love if you must invite them too). Clad in the traditional barn black larch, all of the cottages are designed to reflect the local barns and stables…they really are beautiful.
Dragonfly’s parking space is on the drive, opposite the front door, so the whole experience of staying here couldn’t be any more convenient.

Open plan kitchen & seating area
The kitchen is open plan to the seating area, with dining table and chairs, giant bespoke sofa with plenty of room for dogs and people, wood-burning stove (with logs included), tv with Freeview, DVD player, Bluetooth soundbar, and digital radio with Spotify. If it’s possible to be in love with a sink, then the one in this kitchen is a strong contender for a Valentine’s card…it is gorgeous!
The washing machine and tumble dryer are shared between the three cottages in the laundry opposite. Dragonfly has underfloor heating via an air-source heat pump, so we are environmentally friendly in too. It is a little haven of luxury and has everything you need to shut the doors and hide away from the world.
Our aim is to make your stay as close to home-from-home as possible, and we like to think we have achieved that.

Included within the kitchen are the following: cutlery, crockery, glasses (and plastics for the hot tub), pots & pans, slow cooker, hand blender and whisk, serving/baking dishes, roasting tins, cake tins, digital scales, utensils, cafetiere, food storage boxes, tea towels, scourers, cloths, cleaning spray, hand soap, kitchen roll, bin bags, tea, ground and instant coffee, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt & pepper.
Secure garden with hot tub
Outside the beautiful floor-to-ceiling window is the garden with hot tub, table and chairs, and BBQ. The garden is artificial grass with slate edging and fairy lights, all surrounded by 6ft fences for your privacy and security.
If you are looking for escapism, this is where you will find it! There are at least 6m between the cottages and gardens at their narrowest point. The garden also leads directly to the secure fields via a double-gated secure path.
No one else’s dogs can see or bother yours (and vice versa); therefore, you don’t need to use leads while you’re here. This is what we mean when we say it is a holiday for everyone.
Bedrooms & Sleeping
Dragonfly Cottage has one large bedroom with a super king-size bed (or twin) and is plenty big enough for dog beds and dogs to join you…if you wish.
This bedroom is a little extra special with a gorgeous velvet chair and headboard. A mirror, hairdryer, and a USB charging point are also included for your convenience.
Bathroom
A large freestanding bath, and huge walk-in shower with a choice of shower heads, make the bathroom romantic for any couple. There is plenty of space to unpack your toiletries in the motion-sensitive lighted mirror cabinet, and don’t forget to try the range of bath/shower gel and moisturisers we supply.
We have also included towels, loo roll, and cleaning equipment – not that we expect you to clean! Just look after our cottages with the love they deserve.
This cottage is all about luxury and indulgence.

Added extras for you and your dog…
Each cottage provides a dog hamper which contains dog towels, dog shampoo for any rolling incidents, dog tags with our address on, water and food bowls, Pet Remedy spray, biodegradable poo bags, Simple Solution in case of any accidents, vet wrap and soft ban for emergency bandaging. And the number of the nearest vets is on the fridge…just in case!
Also included are a selection of books, games, and in-depth information about local shops, pubs and things to see and do. We want you to make the most of your experience here, and with our inside knowledge of the local area, we feel best suited to guide you on this. Accessibility
Dragonfly Cottage is all on one level; however, there are steps to the front and patio doors, and the doors are standard width. There is a separate walk-in shower.
